  • 2009 BU commitment- Jordan Prosser

Speaking of Bradley, we believe that their long pursuit of Jordan Prosser is paying off. Bradley was Prosser??™s first offer way back during his freshman year. Since then Prosser has gained around a dozen high major offers. However, because of Prosser??™s decision to wait, many of those offers are no longer standing as they have been filled by other players and it appears that his short list is now limited. Bradley and Iowa appear to be the two schools that are in front for his services and we think in the end, he will be playing for Coach Les.
Just one site's opinion but they've proven in the past to be very trustworthy.

That would be great. I would love to have Prosser on the team in the future. Hopefully being close to home won't be a detriment to his further recruitment. Most kids like to get away from home for college.

Yeah...I've been in college for a while now and I'm pretty sure that awesomest is not a word. -Andrew E.

This would be a tremendous coup for us. If we can start keeping the "next level" local talent at home, that would be great! Stay home Jordan!
      Can we start winning soon?

Wow. Well, I said that there was no chance that Prosser ended up at BU, but that article makes me think that we might have a puncher's chance. We are still going head-to-head with a Big 10 team, and those usually don't go well for MVC teams. But, I don't think it's a stretch to say that our program is in MUCH better shape that Iowa's right now, and could offer more immediate opportunities for personal and team success. Hopefully Jordan looks at the success that 'Cellus, DA, JC, and Ruff have had, and follow in their footsteps.
        Onward and Upward!

This would be a super get for this program...It would give us some quality depth in the front court for the next five years, and allow the recruiting focus to turn back to the guard and wing positions...which should be easier spots to fill with quality players at this level...
I'd absolutely love to see a Prosser commit to BU followed closely by a Marshall Henderson commit...that would be sweet.

It would be great for Jordan and for all the Eureka fans that could come watch him play in Peoria like the Pekin fans were able to for JC; BU has always been a good place for local talent and us fans appreciate good players a lot more then most places.

This is good news, I too thought we didn't have a chance with him after the high-major offers started rolling in. It'd be nice to see him stay home in Central IL!

Adding Prosser would be great! The frontcourt would look like this next season:

                    Anthony Thompson 6'10'' So.
                    Will Egolf 6'9'' Jr.
                    Jordan Prosser 6'8'' Fr.
                    Taylor Brown 6'7'' So.

With Sean Harris coming the next season as a sophomore, Bradley would be set in the frontcourt for the next couple years.

Don't forget Milos Knezevic. He'll be a freshman in 2009, also.

Intesting. Farm and urban kids thinking about spending their college years near a beach...

Lots of rocks, big rocks, little sand, and generally hard waves that often bring in petroleum debris and slime.
Ive been to Corpus many times and the only issue is the large amount of sea weed. The beaches near Port Aransas or near the Island are wonderful. The CC campus isnt great but it sits about two blocks from the Gulf and their new arena is pretty decent. The beaches in Corpus are a heck of a lot nicer then the ones in Galveston.
