My first choise in recruits is "SOME BIG" somebody that says, don't come in the paint !! don't care who it is, I think we have the 3 point shooters already on board, the bigs would open things up and let them shoot.

Me too. I don't know that there is a legit shooting guard on the roster.

I've got 2 questions for you...

1) Is this still 2007??? I thought strangely we jumped ahead to 2012 and had one of the worst 3-point shooting teams in BU history - my Bad!

If they don't force shots DSE and Walt aren't bad shooters......I think we can be a better 3 pt shooting team when the ball goes inside out. The only way to do that is to have a threat inside who needs to be doubled and can pass the ball..


I'm not saying that they are great shooters....just better under better circumstances

I agree Lefty - if we had more of that inside-out action last season, I think you'd see their 3-pt. % increase by up to 5 % pts.
But we've seen both of them go cold on a given night, so it's important to get a consistent long range shooter - more of a natural perimeter shooter who will drill a 3-ball more than 50% of the time when wide open.

I heard that Anthony Fields is very quick and a good passer. He is definitely a pass-first type of point guard. There was at least one other recruit at the scrimmage yesterday (Friday), and there will be additional visitors on campus today (Saturday). Fields will spend more time with the coaches today and he will be scrimmaging with players again on campus..
