Kendahl Amerson gives verbal to BU

    from Utah

he is a lot like Jalen Crawford, slightly bigger, from Detroit... but hopefully a better outside shooter...

The starting back court is looking pretty good right now. We need more but this is a good thing!

Dave Reynolds article about Kendahl Amerson-
PEORIA — Bradley received an oral commitment Tuesday from shooting guard Kendahl Amerson, who chose the Missouri Valley Conference school over UNLV and Gonzaga. The 6-foot-2 Detroit native, who avera…

Amerson could turn into another Will Franklin - I am anxious to see how he does.....
it is difficult to find a list of other schools that were recruiting him since Amerson is not tracked in the major databases...he has come onto the scene rather recently.
I scoured several different Gonzaga and UNLV sites...and not one mention of Amerson among their fans or their recruiting forums and nothing comes up when you google Kendahl Amerson & Gonzaga or UNLV...
Time will tell, but I definitley don't like reloading every year with whatever juco recruits are still left out there in April...we have to begin rebuilding with quality 4-year recruits.

Then there was this Dave Reynolds comment...and I think he knows more than he's saying...
"But more openings on the roster are likely to occur this spring."

could it mean we are also in on his teammate Jelani Neely?

Walt had a nice career here but I'm not so sure his shoes will be that hard to fill. Yes his numbers more than likely won't be filled by one person but I think the trade off will be a more team, everyone gets involved , team oriented game. Something we did not see and our results showed it. Not saying our results were his fault because our staff let him display his talents in the way that he did. I for one, hope not to see that brand of basketball for a long time. Very hard to watch.
