As some may already know, Ronnie Suggs is the younger brother of Scott Suggs, who was a Jim Les recruit way back in 2006-2007. He graduated in 2008 from the same high school that Ronnie graduated from, Washington HS, in Washington, Missouri (just west of St. Louis).-

Older brother Scott, a 6'6" wing, "blew up" as a senior, was one of the top recruits in Missouri for 2008, and was the target of a recruiting battle between Illinois head coach Bruce Weber, Missouri head coach Mike Anderson, and Washington head coach Lorenzo Romar.

He finally committed to Washington, and spent his 4-year career there.
2008-09- He played very little his freshman season, only 85 minutes all season, and a total of 24 points.
2009-10- He played in every game, averaged 13.8 mpg, 4.7 ppg and shot 37.4% from three.
2010-11- He played in every game, averaged 18.3 mpg, 7.4 ppg, and became on of the best shooters in the Pac-12 at 45% on three pointers.
2011-12- redshirted after he broke his foot and underwent surgery
2012-13- He returned from his injury to start every game he played in, averaged 30.8 mpg, he became the 2nd leading scorer on Washington with 12.2 ppg, and was their top 3-point shooter again with 38.7%.

After college, he has played professional ball in Europe for these past 2 seasons-
2013-14 he played a full season (47 games) in the NBA D-League for the Erie Bay Hawks. He was easily their best player, and lead the team with a 18.5 ppg average, 3.9 rpg, and 40.3% from three.
2014-15 he played moved to Europe to play professionally for Chalon in the top French Pro A League. He was one of the team's top players averaging 11.0 ppg.

Let's hope Ronnie can do as well or better than his brother!

Great choice Ronnie. BU is an excellent school with a MBB fan base waiting to explode! As seen in this year's NCAA Tournament, the MVC can put multiple teams in the Big Dance. The NBA will find players good enough to play, no matter where they play college ball. Welcome to BU!

Good article from August, 2013 with some insight about Ronnie Suggs back when he committed to Missouri before his senior year of high school (he eventually de-committed when the coach left).
Nice to see Ronnie has a family that is very involved with his (and his brother's) life and career.

Blessed to say that I've found my school at Bradley U. Can't wait to get started and help change a school

My guess is that the actual Letter of Intent may not become final for a couple days. Suggs is returning to Vermont, while his family is all in the St. Louis area. Bradley will want signatures from Ronnie and maybe a parent.
Nobody at Bradley can comment officially until a signed NLI is received.

Ronnie signed his letter at Table 19 in downtown Peoria this morning.

It is nice to hear some positive news about player recruitment at Bradley. Ronnie appears to be a player who can play at most Div I programs and has the grades.

So we stole him from Missouri? That's fairly impressive! Looking forward to seeing this kid play!

Loving Wardle already. Keep up the good work, coach, and welcome home Ronnie! You can own Peoria if you play with heart!

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

The coaching staff is incredibly high on this kid - I "overheard" some talk today down at Dozer at the BU baseball game
