So the big question is which 3 of the 7 does he really want?

we're still 6 month away from high school basketball season but we've already had a little taste of who is gonna be the best area teams.....

in just the past week - perhaps the three best area teams, Metamora, Central and Manual, have played each other several times times-
with Metamora playing Central twice during the Peoria Central Shootout last weekend, then Metamora beat Manual Monday night at the Hersey Hawkins League at the RiverPlex.

Metamora & Central split the two games at Central, although Metamora won the one that counted in the Tourney Championship game...
then Monday night Metamora won again (Jim Mattson had some highlights Monday night) to make them perhaps this week's winner
(but --- Metamora finished 2nd behind Manual a few weeks ago at the Richwoods Shootout)

so it looks like those are gonna be the three best teams barring some surprise!

I really think it might come down to which players among the ones offered want to come to Bradley. Which ones he really wants is probably the secondary question.

Are you sure that Metamora has beaten Manual this summer? I have heard that the Rams are 3-0 against the Redbirds, including an 8 or 9 point win at the Riverplex Monday night.

Here's hoping he gets a couple of better offers.

Nate has played AAU at the highest level with the Illinois Wolves - and still regularly is one of the best players & highest scorers against the very top opponents nationally - even 4-Star & 5-Star kids that he plays against.
He also is exactly what Bradley has sorely lacked since Jeremy Crouch, Andrew Warren, Philip Gilbert, Will Franklin, and Jerome Robinson - who are the only five guys we have had since the 1990's who can hit from outside at 39% or better.
Of all the players we have had since Andrew Warren left - not one has hit better than 35.6% (Will Egolf)!
Nate Kennell fills a need that we have had for five years.
Nate Kennell hits about 50% from the arc

t, I think you are comparing college stats to high school stats. I believe there is a different three-point line. Also the AAU is not known for defense. Admittedly, the Wolves are known to be a well-coached team.

I'm not saying he wouldn't be a good player at Bradley. I do know that stats are not always reliable.

well, of course...he's never played college ball so all we have to go on is his stats to this point..but he does hit quite a few from 2 feet beyond the arc

check the shot just 20 seconds into this video that he comfortably shoots from 4-6 feet beyond the arc and again several other times 0:49, 1:04, 1:30, 1:44

Hey, we passed on Alec Peters and stopped pursuing Peyton Allent...

Alec Peters was clearly a miss, but Peyton Allen wasn't going to Bradley as soon as he knew that he was going to get BCS offers.

On a side note, I suspect the very same thing about Koch Bar. If a BCS or major offer comes, I think it will be very, very hard for Bradley to hang on to his commitment.

As noted on the main Basketball Board, Nate Kennell has decided to commit to Bradley!
He gave Coach Wardle a verbal commitment this morning, making him the second commitment for 2016.
