I suspect Koch Bar's career at BU will depend on BU's improvement this coming season and Wardle's ability to continue adding impact players to the BU program!

Koch will be forever remembered as having contributed (lead?) BU MBB back to national prominence... Gonzaga had Stockton, BU will have Koch.

After all, everyone knows things go better with 'Koch'!

We got him to commit!!! Good Day for Bradley Basketball!!! It has been stressful these last couple days since that Dave Reynolds article came out. Some said maybe Dave misquoted him, others said he is only a 17 year old and doesn't know any better. All water under the bridge now, as Nate is our newest Brave!!! I could not be happier, we got a real good all around basketball player with a basketball IQ off the charts. Makes every one around him better, and will be a huge asset to Bradley basketball these next four years. WELCOME TO BRADLEY NATE!!!

The last Peoria area scholarship recruit to commit with Bradley prior to Nate Kennell was Donivine Stewart in 2011. He was actually a Jim Les recruit, but played his only year at Bradley for Geno Ford. There were no Peoria area scholarship players signed by Geno Ford in all 4 years he was at Bradley, though he did have a Peoria area walkon (Mason Alwan). The last Peoria area players who stayed and graduated were Jim Les recruits Jordan Prosser (2009-2014) and Dyricus Simms-Edwards 2009-2013. And after Prosser graduated and left in 2014, the 2014-15 season was the first season without a Central Illinois scholarship player since the Jim Molinari era (2001-2002).

Nice to see more local kids being recruited again.

even if there are NO local kids you are pursuing - you burn bridges if you spurn the local gyms ...nice to see he's rebuilding those bridges

Nate Kennell continues to play well for the Illinois Wolves in their July events.
He helped lead the Wolves with 10 points last night in an opening game 56-47 win against the Alabama Challenge at the KC Hardwood Classic at Shawnee Mission South HS in Overland Park, Kansas.

The top Illinois Wolves 17U team with Nate plays again this afternoon at 3:35 PM against the Reach Legends from the Detroit area.

                      Just a note...
Nate Kennell's Metamora HS teammate Michael Adams, who is Danny Adams' brother...
is kinda coming into his own...

Michael Adams is playing with his AAU team (Quad City Elite) in Kansas City, and a couple awesome games Friday...
17 pts in one game then came back with a 25 pt/10 reb outing.
Just took a visit to WIU

Meaning that it would be great to have a recruit who's stock is rising.

I can see that, but hopefully not too good of an offer.

The Illinois Wolves are playing well again in their game this afternoon. It is not final yet, but I found this tweet from a Chicago recruiting guru who is watching the game and calls Nate Kennell "the best pure shooter in state game in and game out".

The game just went final- the Illinois Wolves beat the Texas Avengers 64-47.
Nate Kennel was the game's leading scorer with 19 points.

They move to 3-0 and a 2nd round (Sweet 16 round) game tonight at 7:55 PM between the winner of KC Premiere Black (1-1) vs. AFES (Athletes for Education and Success, Iowa) who are 2-0 so far.
