We know how that turned out for Bradley. But in place of TSC, "the rest of the story" is that Creighton was forced to take a lesser-known juco guard- Booker Woodfox. He had much less recruiting interest, but all he did was become the MVC Player of the Year his senior year.

But Creighton was probably offering that he could get some of Nate Funk's minutes.
He actually chose Bradley because Bradley out-recruited Creighton, and we thought TCS would help fill a need in the backcourt. He was never promised a starting spot, like he thought he deserved. And like that old post notes, he played more minutes than any non-starter that year (2008-09), but despite his lofty juco numbers, and his high rating by recruiting services, his production at Bradley was awful, and his shot was terrible (3.8 ppg, 24% from three).
He was given the chance to return his senior year if he worked on some things over the summer, but unfortunately, he was not willing to do so.

yes - but this whole TCS story was another one of the mis-reported stories of the past decade - replete with errors and supposed quotes that later were proven false.........
.... the local press initially reported that TCS was sent a text message telling him he was kicked off the team
..but our staff denied that...then the media interviewed TCS and he admitted he never got a text message and that he was never kicked off the team. He eventually left because he was told he'd have to work hard to improve to get playing time - something TCS chose not to do
BTW - as a followup to all this...
Tyrone appeared to move on and this is all old history now......as he landed at Tarleton State and had a decent, albeit short, 1-year career at the D-II level
...then he attempted to play professionally but chose instead to pursue his degree in criminal justice.
He now works for the Fifth Judicial District in his hometown of Des Moines, Iowa as a Residential Officer and Counselor.
