David Stockton of Gonzaga might be a good comparison, and maybe if Norton could develop into that kind of player, I'd be happy. However, it has taken Stockton 5 years to become a starter and regular producer for Gonzaga. Stockton had to redshirt his first year, and then only averaged about 4 ppg and played limited minutes in his first 3 seasons there as a reserve. It's only now in his 5th year as a graduate student that he has become a starter and consistent producer. But he is still just a 23% three point shooter, and puts up 7.5 ppg and 4.2 apg, which are not great numbers for a 5th year point guard. He also plays with a lot of better players than Bradley usually has, so he is not relied on to be a scorer like Bradley needs. -

he is currently on a visit there and his father, Randy Norton, is UAB women's basketball head coach
They basically have no seniors - so he'll be playing behind a few guys for a while but obviously the family connection was key...Comment
