seems we're zeroing in on a lot of 2015 names already - that's good news..
..have we heard much lately on 2014 recruits??
St. Teresa is a very small school - about 270 enrollment - about the same size as Abingdon, Heyworth, or Peoria Heights, and they didn't get out of their own regional last spring.

True, but can't get a pay off unless BU keeps trying.... At very minimum keeps BU name out in front of players/fans who live to follow scholly offers via various media sites..

            Amazing

Well the reason why Taphorn and Allen and Austin didn't pay off is because they all are high major kids so that comment about no paying off is absurd

Do mid-majors ever have much success form early recruiting?

I do realize this is the only way upper level recruits will give much thought to the offer. If you have already been hearing from BCS schools, an offer from mid-major will usually not catch his/her attention. I am ignoring Butler as it is now a a BCS school.

I believe Bradley showing early interest in recruits is mandatory since other schools are recruiting players at a younger age. Bradley has has to stay competitive, and hopefully, do better than other mid-major schools.

The Big East doesn't play football anymore...

                        ...
                        I don't think so...

if a kid is identified really early as being talented - then he likely stands out so much he starts getting bigger offers right away - like those kids that Tim Floyd & other BCS-type coaches offer in 8-9th grade.
Recall, Bradley offered Matt Roth in 8th grade - but as he got more offers, he waited & waited 'til the Big Ten offer came.

then also if a kid verbals really early - there's a high chance that he's gonna waver or even the school's gonna waver and yank the scholarship because he doesn't develop - like Cully Payne & this kid

I know of a few mid-major kids like Jordan Eglseder who was offered and verballed before ever playing a minute of varsity....but extremely few. BTW - at that time when UNI got Eglseder, they also offered several other extremely early kids who were wasted scholarships and did not pan out.

It looks like he is a good quarterback also. I would think it shows good skills in making quick decisions in the flow of a game, plus the ability to take physical punishment.
