KJ Bluford is a Minneapolis native and played for the same AAU program, the Minnesota Fury, that Carter Evans played for..
he is the 4th juco kid landed for this coming fall by Iowa State...


...speaking of Carter Evans - the kid has had an absolutely great season, multiple double-doubles

last night he had 17 pts & 18 rebounds!
....but he had very little scoring punch among his teammates - and they have been getting beat in low scoring games...

Just found this story of how well KJ Bluford is doing in the summer league...
Can't guarantee that summer league play translates to D-I play but this is nice to hear for the Iowa State fans...

Talented juco scorer KJ Bluford is NOT happy with his playing time at Iowa State (only getting 5 min per game)
and he is leaving and will transfer...
Bradley pursued Bluford before he chose Iowa State over the Bradley offer - wonder if we might still be interested...

in limited play he is shooting just under 30% from the arc, but... that would still make him one of our best 2 or 3 shooters

KJ Bluford has dropped down quite a bit - so it looks like coming to Bradley must not have been an option..
He is now at Northern Arizona
