BU Recruit 2014- Marcus Bartley

2014 PG 6'3 Marcus Bartley (Decatur MacArthur) was on Bradley's campus last night and played with the guys. I feel he is one of the most underrated players in his class. Has a chance to be very good in the long run. Size and Length and the PG position is something that can be a very dangerous weapon to have.

Thus far, Bartley has drawn offers from Northwestern and Oklahoma State, as well as a host of mid-majors, including local schools Bradley, Illinois State, Southern Illinois and Eastern Illinois. He's also had coaches from Illinois, Iowa, St. Louis and Stanford at recent open gyms.

Bartley says that he's interested in "a great academic program, first and foremost" when he's looking at schools, followed by "good coaches I'm comfortable with."

At his point, Bartley's plan is to see what other schools get involved in his recruitment and then figure out which campuses he will visit in the fall. He already knows that Northwestern will be one of those schools he will visit, and Oklahoma State another.
