Dave Reynolds tweeted about DD at halftime of yesterday's game:
@DaveReynolds2: BU recruit Deshawn Delaney has 22 points for undefeated Vincennes, which is 20-0 with win. #BRADvWSU

I don't think DR does that very often, so it may or may not mean anything else...

Vincennes played and beat Southwestern Illinois yesterday. They are not very good (5-14) and DD had 22 and 14.

I guess they were far enough ahead that DeShawn tried something he usually doesn't do much of.....
he attempted two 3-pt shots...missed them both... prior to that he had attempted fewer than 20 on the season..hitting 28%

Deshawn Delaney had one of his lowest scoring games of the season last night as Vincennes beat Lake Land College 82-66. Delaney had just 5 points and 3 rebounds, but his scoring wasn't needed as his teammate 6'7", 230 pound soph Darius Carter had a monster game- 32 points and 21 rebounds!
Texas A&M had a coach present to scout Carter and Delaney.
Deshawn is still the leading scorer for his team with an average of 16.0 ppg, and he averages 7.7 rpg.
I have heard Bradley may still be in the lead to land DD, but it might be nice to land his teammate Darius Carter, too!

I guess we can take both IF WE HAVE TO.....

According to Rivals, Kent St. offered Carter back in 2011. I suppose Geno knows about him

Vincennes beat Southwestern Illinois in overtime Friday night to win the NJCAA Region 24 championship game 76-65. Deshawn Delaney has had a great tournament. He scored 20 points and had 16 rebounds on Thursday night against Wabash Valley in their semifinal. He had 16 & 5 Wednesday night against Kaskaskia, and was the key player Friday night as well as he brought his team from behind to force overtime, then scored the key baskets in overtime to pull away.
Deshawn Delaney is averaging 15.6 ppg and 7.8 rpg for the season.

Bradley is recruiting Deshawn Delaney's teammate 6-8 PF Darius Carter-

Deshawn Delaney was named a Junior College All American for the second year in a row.

He is erroneously listed as a freshman-

He also made the 3rd team last year-

Jucojunction lists Bradley, UW-M, and Texas A&M as following Deshawn Delaney, and it still lists no offers.
One other juco recruiting site recently interviewed DeShawn and he said...

"..what schools are in the mix?
“...recruiting is going really good right now.
I am getting looks from Bradley, Mississippi State, West Virginia, Valpo,
Oregon and many more schools are showing interest in me.”

Rivals also notes that back in 2011 "Kent State" offered Delaney out of high school...

Deshawn Delaney chose New Mexico over Bradley. He was voted 1st team NJCAA All American, and some predicted he would be the Newcomer of the Year in the Mountain West Conference and make an impact immediately.
But he averaged only 11 minutes, 2 points and 3.5 rebounds per game off the bench in New Mexico's 2 preseason exhibition games against extremely weak opposition. In their first game against Alabama A&M, he came off the bench for 16 minutes and scored 4 points and had 5 rebounds.

                            Followup -
I was interested to see how DeShawn Delaney did at New Mexico after spurning Bradley...
remember - Delaney was one of the best juco players in the nation and a reliable scorer...

And - he was hyped as one of the only 2 or 3 players on the New Mexico squad who was a sure lock as a starter and an impact player...
he has only two years to play so he wanted playing time immediately.

                            Result -
he's not getting much playing time...
I think he'd have made a great player at the mid-major level - Theron Wilson, Andrew Warren, Desmar Jackson...

He comes off the bench, gets 10 mpg, mostly against the lesser competition, he averages 2.7 ppg & 2.3 rpg.
He's done little to think he will move up in the playing rotation so he's nowhere near having an impact.
