story on Deshawn Delaney's 4th game (in Olney at a tournament) - he scored 16 pts

some oddities occurred...the team they were scheduled to play backed out at the last minute with no warning - so...
they made a call to a travelling group of Europeans who were playing nearby and those guys came right over after their game in Belleville and played another game only a couple hours later...so they had to be tired...
..but they didn't know all the rules and had to give up FT's even before the game began because they were dunking in warmups..

Deshawn is having a great year - but this brand new interview by Cavan Walsh kind of puzzles me...

            Deshawn prominently mentions BRADLEY...
But I have heard rumors of academic concerns........
but we need to find a way to land him here - we need DD

some current comments on DeShawn Delaney's Vincennes Trailblazers...they are off until January 3.

"With a No. 5 ranking and an unbeaten record, Vincennes University has
proven in its play through the first two months of the season to be one of
the top teams in the country.

Through 12 games, VU has won every game by double figures. Only two of
its outcomes have been decided by less than 20 points. The Blazers went
into the Christmas break coming off wins of 102-58 to Sinclair (Ohio) and
106-29 to the Lindsey Wilson ...
Their average winning margin is 38.5 per game.

The Blazers have prospered defense. They’re holding teams to 49 points
per game and 30 percent shooting, forcing them into 22 turnovers per game.

They also have one of the better junior college players in the country in 6-5
sophomore forward Deshawn Delaney. He’s averaging 19.3 points per
game on 60 percent shooting. Delaney also leads the team in rebounding
(8.8 per game), blocks (27) and steals (22)."

It works for me. Could you have some blocking software on your side?

The story discusses several top juco recruits. This is the only part that mentions Deshawn Delaney-

Georgia and Rutgers were at Vincennes on Thursday to take a look at 2013′s Deshawn Delaney (6-5/G) and Darius Carter (6-7/F).

                              DD

I've been hoping for good news form DD, but expecting him to go elswhere. I think it would be like adding another T Pickett. It would be a big help.

I see the article also mentioned Elgin Cook. I found this in an article by PJS. "BU assistant Jaden Uken paid a visit to 6-6 guard Elgin Cook of Northwest Florida State College."
