Dave Reynolds is tweeting that the BU staff is at Vincennes, IN JC to visit with Deshawn Delaney, a 6'5" 190 LB small forward originally from Chicago Carver. He was his teams leading scorer and rebounder last year.

1963, soon-to-be-Brave Joe Allen (Cazzie Russell the year before that in a 1-pt title game loss), but in '63, a 1-pt win over Centralia in Championship game.. -

DeShawn Delaney and Vincennes juco have already gotten off to a good start..
they hosted a Juco Jamboree last Sunday and went 3-0 beating all three opponents handily - and they play a preseason scrimmage today against Ivy Tech..

I've heard Deshawn Delaney is Geno's top priority on Bradley's recruiting list for 2013, even after the commitment of Michael Tucker. Our coaches are staying in close touch. As we noted before, he will be visiting Bradley in November or December, and there sounds like a good chance our coaches would like to include him in our 2013 recruiting class.Comment

Vincennes scored the first 18 points on the way to an 88-50 win over Roane State..
BU recruit Deshawn Delaney scored a game high 21 pts and hardly played in the 2nd half as the lead was over 30pts..
Deshawn will look good in Red & White...

Here is Vincennes' schedule. I had heard Delaney would be visiting this month, but I don't know the dates. It looks like his team plays every weekend into late December.

Deshawn Delaney and the Vincennes Trailblazers pkayed last night, and DD had another great game. He had 22 points,15 rebounds, and 6 assists.

He had 21 & 8 and 16 & 7 in his first 2 games, so his average now is 19.7 & 10.
He averaged 18.7 & 9.2 last year as a freshman.Comment

The opponent they beat SFCC near St. Louis - has one player Bradley was recruiting at one time way back earlier in high school...
but he's since dropped off a bit and had some personal troubles........
Jacob Williams from Chicago St. Pat's played and was SFCC's best player with 20 pts, 9 rebs..

You are right. Jacob Williams played for Vincennes last year and was enrolled at the start of this year, but must have transferred. It was probably a good move as Vincennes is stacked with talent and he may have been a backup if he had stayed.Comment
