I notice Bradley is not mentioned among the schools by Wilkins. It does mention Creighton.

The offer by Bradley to Wilkins is in the Wake Forest article..
"He (Jonathon Wilkins) is hearing the most from Bradley, Dayton, Virginia, Wake
Forest, Wake Forest and Xavier. Bradley is the only school to offer Wilkins."
..it also says he hopes to choose by this spring...

BU recruit Jonathon Wilkins is a recruiting target of Villanova but I sure hope he reads this...their recruiting guys say this......
"Villanova Basketball: "2014 Recruiting Trail"
the search for the next successful big man has extended into the class of 2014.
The Wildcats ..look ahead to the future and bring in a big man in the class of 2014.
...the Wildcats have an offer out to one other center, Johnathon Wilkins (La Lumiere School, La Porte, Ind.).
Wilkins is not as talented as Towns is, but if he does commit to Villanova, he will not be expected to play until his sophomore season at the earliest."

most of whom were highly rated - and hyped as can't miss top talent....
even guys like 5-STAR Hanner Perea - but all of them aimed way too high and either never played/barely played or were huge flops...
Go mid-major and have a fine career like Jackie Carmichael, Carl Hall, POB..etc..

Jonathan Wilkins is still a Bradley 2014 recruit, but there is a report that he is leaving his current school and transferring. He originally came to the US and enrolled at La Lumiere Prep School in La Porte, Indiana in the summer of 2011. But he never became a regular starter, and maybe that played a part in his decision. He has not announced where he is transferring to.

In Indiana - they held their Senior-Junior All-Star game Wednesday night,
and the seniors won 132-111...
reportedly Jonathon Wilkins was selected and eligible to play for the junior squad but did not play and was not on the roster
They played on Monday as well.

It seems that Jonathan Wilkins has surprised everyone involved in his recruiting. He apparently has accumulated enough credits to graduate from la Lumiere Prep School, and has accepted a scholarship and enrolled at New Mexico State University.-

I remember that his older brother also unexpectedly announced that he was going to Iowa State, only to change his mind.
btw - any guesses as to why he never really considered ISU - the school of his dad & big brother?
Could he feel they really never developed John very well and squandered his abilities?
There are a lot of people who do..Last edited by tornado; 08-27-2013, 09:53 AM.

Oddly, there hasn't been any other reports confirming Jonathon Wilkins' verbal to New Mexico State, however...
It must be legit because this morning Jonathon Wilkins now shows up on their enrolled student directory

Jonathon Wilkins is said to be redshirting this year by the consensus of those posting on their boards..and it might make sense given his name and the name of at least one other player who is known to be enrolled are yet to appear on their roster.
His older brother John Wilkins is already playing for a Belgian pro team -

This is interesting - John Wilkins has been listed as their starting point guard - I guess that fulfills his dream..
