Denzel McCauley would have been the best returning player for the Illinois state champs Rock Island HS, except his family has moved and he will be going to school in South Bend.
The 6-8 kid is a thoroughbred and absolutely dominated Centralia in the State Title game with 17 rebounds and 2 blocks, and also had 14 pts, 9 rebs, 3 blk in the semi against Chicago Brooks - in just 15 minutes of playing time!

There has been very little mention of him, but he is appraently at South Bend Washington...
He is not listed in any of the scouting or recruiting service databases -- time is right to check him out now...

T I agree he is a player. Talking to some Rockie folks at the tourney and they indicated he had a little bit of an attitude. I don't think it was anything serious but need to tread lightly and check him out. No doubt about his ability. Much better then Paul Bunch.
