Tanner's knee injury last season and major knee surgery after the season has some to do with how he was playing. He will get better as he continues to recover and get stronger. But Bradley's needs for 2012 would be better filled with a juco big man.

Alot of factors come into why or why he doesnt have offers.
Injury: He torn his maniscus and had surgery which caused him to miss from late march until early June. 3 months not playing a lick of basketball. A few days before July evaluation period starts he rolls his left ankle pretty bad (which is his jumping foot). While everyone else has had the spring to adjust to the difference in competition (especially coming from a super small school) he has got thrown in to the most covered, most competitive month and had to adjust on the fly coming off injuries.
Does he need to work on things? Absolutely: Shot needs to be more consistent, ball handling needs to improve a little. But he also brings toughness, rebounding, athleticism, and is best at scoring in straight line opportunities from the wing or in the post. (He will be a 4/3 at the next level).
It will be interesting to see where his recruitment goes. Alot of coaches knows he has the size athleticism and toughness to play at D1 level. It is just going to come down to how he fits into a particular system.

I have to think we have all learned from the past -- JJ Tauai, Aaron Zobrist comes to mind -- that kids who might have not been given much chance early on can develop into fine players...
Tanner will play D-I and here's hoping he comes back to bite a few who dissed --

BCS SCHOOL??? is the MVC in that Category???
Tanner has high major athleticism and size.
Skills to be a wing need to be refined and worked on. Nobody is saying he going to come in and be a difference maker right away. He is best suited for low-low mid level as a 4/3 hybrid. There is something to say when a kid is 6'6.5 or 6'7 with his athleticism. You can work with them to become better shooters and ball handlers, but you cannot necessarily make a player super athletic or any taller.
Like I stated before schools will offer eventually. And will help make him into a more complete player like your saying he needs to be right now...
D1 at any level is an awesome accomplishment.
Eastern IL like you mentioned beat Bradley last yr, correct? UIC beat Illinois? All the upsets in the tournament? Goes to show you why they play the game and how anyone can beat anyone...

Another thing to take into consideration...
Williams had to get knee surgery. People are saying 'when he recovers,' but that doesn't mean that he's going to get that bounce back. Look no farther than Will Egolf to see what a knee injury can do to a player's bounce.
People are making a big deal out of "6'6 with athleticism," but if you strip him of his athleticism and just look at his skill set, he's not a D-1 player."But instead lets just hate while their MBB and WBB programs play blackjack against BU. Twenty-One in a row, seven by the Men & 14 by their women." ~NSBF
