playing within an offense that rarely scores more than 50 keeps his numbers down but that'll benefit BU and keep the Krzyzewskis at bay

He gets maybe 7-8 shots a game....maybe Mott restricts him a bunch I don't know....has anyone seen him this year?
I saw him play against Limestone and came away more impressed with his defense/active hands (blocks/deflections) than I was with his offense. He was also "longer" than most of the kids on the floor so I wasn't incredibly impressed with that either.
???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12

I think the Bisping kid is a better player than both Taphorn and Peters.

Bisping is a PF/SF is slightly taller than Peters and Taphorn.

Peters and Taphorn are SF/PF will more skill with ball in there hands.

Peters is the best one of the 3... All are good players though

Taphorn will be hard to figure out as far as numbers because he plays for a defensive coach.

Which player is best is certainly debatable.

We need a 3 point shooter and one that can shoot over guys would be prefferable. Tell me who out of the bunch that looks like the best pure shooter and that is who I would take.

I agree with you OC. I don't think theres a question Bisping is the better of the three. He's got a body ready for the Valley and he can shoot. We surely need shooters not just kids who can run and jump but can't throw a ball in the water sitting in a boat. On the other side of the coin, I think Gerry thinks Taphorns the best and he's seen all three play. I think he is pretty good at evaluating talent so maybe Nate will turn out to be the best of the three

I just happen to believe that Bisping is the most versatile of the 3 players.

Versatility is great if you are building depth but right now we need players that can play a specific position outstanding. I've never seen any of these players play but I really like the idea of a 6'6" shooting guard that can really shoot.

I've seen all 3 play at least 8 plus games over the past couple years. I'll take Peters just slightly over Bisping followed by Taphorn.

Big question mark for Taphorn is when he'll gain any body mass. That may change the pecking order but Peters and Bisping are already physically able to take physical high school play. It looks like they are strong enough to withstand the even more physical college play.

I also want the guy who puts the time into getting better and stronger. MVC players are usually recruited highly for their upside not to many players can come in and be the man right away. Does anyone know which player is a gym rat?

There's a certain killer-instinct & "mean guy" attitude that we need as well - we saw it with Tony Bennett, Will Franklin, Zach Andrews, Sammy, TB, Dyricus...
but few high school kids have that degree of competitiveness - but many can develop it in college...

Nothing against Dave Mott or Jarrett Brown, but if everything else is even I will take a player coached by Kevin Brown. I certainly think Kevin Brown's players will be mentally tough and able to withstand the rigors of high level basketball.
