  • 2011 BU commit- Jalen Crawford

Jalen Crawford is a 6'2" combo guard who is one of Coach Geno Ford's first recruits. He is originally from Oak Park High School in Detroit. After his senior season in 2009-2010 he played this past season at Impact Academy, a Las Vegas prep school where he has developed into a much better passer and more of a scorer.

I had not heard of Impact Academy and I am somewhat intrigued by that video (your first link)..

Most of that video is shot on what appears to be the home floor of Impact but it is all game action in an essentially empty gym with no fans whatsoever.
One short segment in the middle takes place in a gym with some fans.
One other gym pictured about 6 min into the video is a college gym (in Utah) but the game again appears to have absolutely no fans whatsoever.

But I can't find hardly anything about Impact Academy in Las Vegas that even says it is a school -- instead it is described as a training academy..and a lot of their games appear to have been blowout losses...and here...

That page from NevadaPreps also has a searchable database for all the Las Vegas area schools and teams, including Findlay, but they do not mention Impact at all in their entire database.

    Here is Impact's web site

It does not mean that. Abell is still committed by NLI to Bradley, and is still in play for Coach Ford. I think there will be some communication in the coming days that will resolve the issue.

Just saw the DR article addressing that. I always check the recruits page first.

From what I understand, if he were to come, he would take the scholarship spot of either Sean Harris or Andrew Davis. Remy is still entirely possible.
