Be it noted that players (or their families) pay sites like chicagohoops to promote their kid....I know this for a fact and have have heard it confirmed even by some kids who have paid the fees...
It is part of how the kids get exposure......part of how the "recruiting service" people make money.....and it seems obvious just from the wording just which kids are on their good list.....
And it kinda sheds new light on the accuracy of any rankings by a guy who has received money to hype and promote certain kids..
If almost 300 kids paid $275 each, then you can get an idea how much money overall is involved, and some kids pay additional fees for favorable comments in articles.....
Kids pay as much as $275 for some basica levels of "exposure"...
but other "exposure" events require additional payments.....
