  • Ranking the Recruiting Classes

FWIW -- Recruiting Class rankings - for Class of 2010 -- current freshmen...

I edited to show just the Valley and relevant ones...
they are soooo inaccurate and have Hawaii and Lamar among the Top 10 and show us getting John Wilkins and Sean Harris this year...so make what you want of it....note that they list the exact same kid - Tim Toler for BOTH Northern Iowa and Northern Illinois but he's ranked higher going to UNI!! These guys are so bad...

What's absolutely GUT-SPLITTING funny is that where they list John Wilkins for Bradley
he is scored as "2 points" but where he's credited to ISU he's scored as "8 points"!!!
In the meantime he hasn't played a single game!!!! Ha, ha...so why the huge difference??

btw-- Denson decommitted from Creighton many months ago!

Yea -- just think.....if you are ranked as an "8", that "8" reflects a talent level of Top 40 (actually #11-40)!!!.... maybe even as good as the 11th ranked in the NATION!

      But then ...
you see that the experts also rank you as a "2" - which is but inside the top 1000, so you begin to realize those guys making the ratings are really astoundingly stupid...they are looking that the exact same guy, and rating him one time as an 8 and the other time as a 2....and he was NEVER once observed playing basketball in between those two rankings.
Kinda blows the heck out of any credibility...

        This is stupid.

I don't like the ranking including number of recruits.....and Mizzou will fall if Mitchell and Ratliffe can't play.

This poster from the Wichita State board does a pretty good job of keeping track of all the incoming recruits-

and there are recruiting sites with lists of recruits, but they usually aren't accurate (scroll down to Missouri Valley)-
