Rivals is reporting BU has offered 6'9" Small Forward J. J. Panoske from Brodhead, WI.

Here's the text from the Rivals Premium article on Panoske. Note that he originally committed to UW-Green Bay but said the school was too small. Probably doesn't bode well for us, but if we get him to visit, he may feel differently.

"There are currently 10 known offers the Colorado State Rams have extended to basketball prospects from the class of 2011. Of those 10, one recruit the CSU coaching staff seems to be focused on is Brodhead (Wisc.) small forward J.J. Panoske.
Panoske attended the Rams' Elite Camp last week and was one of several players who stood up head-and-shoulders above the rest.
At 6-foot-9, he might not look like your typical small forward, but don't be fooled by his frame - Panoske is a solid shooter and knows how to drive to the basket. Still, despite averaging over 17 points per game as a junior last season, Panoske feels he has a lot to improve on.
"I feel like I'm not a great player yet. I have a lot to work on," Panoske said. "I feel like I'm a shooter right now, but if I get a nose for the basketball and become more aggressive, I think I can become a very good player. The more I work on myself, the more my potential keeps rising."
Colleges are starting to see that potential Panoske speaks of.
Along with Colorado State, the Wisconsin native has offers from UW-Green Bay, UW-Milwaukee and Toledo and is being heavily recruited by a handful of schools in California and within the Missouri Valley Conference.
Right now, Panoske ranks Colorado State in his top two with the UW-Milwaukee Panthers. And even though he originally committed to UW-Green Bay, he says the size of the school is a little small for his taste.
So what is it about the Rams Panoske enjoys so much?
"I pictured (CSU) to be a really nice atmosphere and a really nice school and then I came out here and it is," he said following the CSU Elite Camp. "It reminds me a lot of UW-Green Bay, but a bigger version - I like that.
"I like how official things are and how the coaches come across. They make you feel like you're home here. I feel comfortable (at CSU)."
Though the Rams and Panthers might be sitting pretty with Panoske today, the small forward says he wants to take a few official visits in the fall before he makes any final decision. He plans to commit before his senior season starts."#DunkOnYou -
One Wisconsin recruiting site had posted that J.J.Panoske was set to announce his decision today.

What's interesting is no matter how big the school is, you probably will only get to really know and hang out with 25-50 people anyway.
Enrollment of a school doesn't really matter, it's the size of the community, opportunities in the community, "size" of the athletic program, ammenities on campus etc.
Even though I moved from Peoria to Phoenix, the number of my close friends and acquaintences in Phoenix area hasn't grown exponentially vs Peoria..
Quality vs quantity....not readily accepted by some youth.BUilding for the Future

Maybe if Bradley had the new facilities established during the recruitment of this kid, he might have picked Bradley. We'll never know, but I think we'll have a better chance at kids like this in the future.
But sometimes it's hard to beat the "hometown" school.Comment

I found that last comment a bit odd........that the kid is 6-10 but only in the past couple months "began to show a willingness to post-up" ..
and one other thing...
UW-M already has .."six players on its roster 6-8 or taller.."
So is this kid gonna find any playing time for the next three years there???
BTW -- for those who have repeated the mantra since 2005 that JL is on the hot seat...check this out...

It sounds like Coach Les liked this kid.
This article that I came across a little over a month ago said he was planning to visit Bradley in August (as well as Creighton). I never heard confirmation that he made it, but it sounds like he might have since he had narrowed his choices to UW-M and Bradley-
