Maybe the next AJ Price will be better known than the last?
Looks like he's got good set of skills and very confident player.
Nice touch from the perimeter too, which helps since he frees himself up well off the dribble.
I would like to see him in a BU uni, though I don't know his personality. Hope he has a good visit to Peoria and sees the best of BU - hopefully he'll see the family that bonds BU together and that we have a classy group of guys. I believe the BU basketball future is bright with new guys coming in next season after our stellar seniors depart - hopefully with an MVC championship!

I just watched the complete video clip again. AJ does have a slightly unorthodox shot, but he has a high release point, and seems adept at the fall-away move which appears to make his shot almost impossible for defenders to block. I really like his quickness, and it appears from the video he has great court awareness, like a true point guard.
BTW- The Colony High School, in The Colony, Texas is a public high school that is only 20 years old, but with a couple very well known alumni, such as Deron Williams, formerly of the Illini, and now with the Utah Jazz.-
Here is a page with a few more famous athletes who have come from The Colony.-

Thanks for posting the Video brownsugaraj!!......I actually like AJ's jumpshot....looks like a scorer who can knock down the jumper...I'll take that anyday....Like Da Coach said earlier..his high quick release is very hard to defend..looks like he has the ability to go get his own shot. Has a pretty good handle too.
Good luck in your recruitment process and I hope to see AJ at Bradley!!DUBL R 1

I just think it is great when sources close to players come and contribute. Everything is so secretive. Now we know he is a legit prospect and we aren't left in the dark.
2nd: Even if he has a unique shot....he has become a good enough player and his shot must be good enough to be heavily recruited by bradley....so why worry at all.
Hope you enjoy the visit AJ.

I hope no one worries about an unorthodox shot. One of the all time greats, Reggie Miller, had a funny looking shot and we all know how he played. It's all about the ball going through the hoop."Educate and inform the whole mass of the people...they are the only sure reliance for the preservation of our liberty."

We in Peoria think Bradley basketball is very special. The passion for basketball in this town is second to none. Our kids are treated like family and "Once a Brave always a Brave." Hope to see AJ in a BU uniform if that's what he wants. AJ can get a great education here, play in a great atmosphere every night and we have sent more kids to the pros then anyone in our league. Good luck in your hunt for a school, but think red.

Welcome to Peoria and BU AJ and friends/family.
Peoria has a lot more going for it than other towns its size.
This is due to Peoria being a growing regional/national medical center and a mid Illinois financial center. It is also the home of Caterpillar Inc, a Fortune 100 global industry leader, with close ties to BU, its faculty, students, and alumni.
I am not a native, but lived in Peoria for over 15 years before retiring. The public interest and support for BU Athletics, and BU Men's Basketball in particular, is as good here as any BCS Conference School.
Good luck to AJ in his decision re college and his career. He has a wonderful opportunity to leverage his sports skills to set him up for life beyond basketball!BUilding for the Future
