I just got this email from BU:
PEORIA, Ill. -- The Bradley men's basketball program went big with its second commitment for the 2010-11 recruiting class, today announcing that 6-foot-10 center Andrew Davis has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend Bradley University and play basketball for the Braves next season.
Originally from Edmond, Okla., Davis will graduate next month from Pendleton School at IMG Academies in Bradenton, Fla., a college prepartory school for athletes training at the elite IMG Academies. In his lone season at the IMG Basketball Academy, Davis averaged nine points and eight rebounds.
"We are excited to add a skilled big man like Andrew to our basketball family," said Bradley Basketball head coach Jim Les. "Andrew has been well-schooled in the fundamentals of the game and brings a lot of skills that will translate well to our style of play. But more importantly, he is a tremendous young man who will represent Bradley University in a first-class manner."
Davis joins high-flying Chicago Julian H.S. guard Walter Lemon, Jr. in Bradley's recruiting class for the 2010-11 season. The duo will join a roster of 11 returning players, including the top-scoring trio in the Missouri Valley Conference -- senior guards Andrew Warren (14.4 ppg) and Sam Maniscalco (13.1 ppg), as well as junior forward Taylor Brown (13.5 ppg).
