  • Morton's Brett Bisping

I'm still kind of new to the recruiting process, but I saw Coach Buescher talking to Morton sophomore Brett Bisping and his parents before the ISU home game a while back. Not sure what that means, but I've watched that kid play a few times and he's in a good program and looks like he's going to be a solid player.

I believe he's 6-5 or 6-6 as a sophomore. Probably not going to get any smaller...

I think Bradley is aware of Bisping, who's sister is a freshman on the women's team. They also like Morton sophomore Will Headen, who has been injured and hasn't played much this season.

I've watched both players quite a few times. Will (a 6-foot point guard) had an outstanding freshman year last year, but like you said, has had an arm injury that kept him out until recently.

Brett strikes me as more of a Div. I player. He's good with the ball, good in the post and has a nice perimeter shot, in addition to what seems like a high basketball IQ. Hopefully he develops like I think he will. Plus, as you said, it's nice to have a connection to the family through his sister, Brooke.

I heard that Eric Buescher was at the Morton Limestone game on Friday night watching both Stewart and Bisping.
