Alot of people compare him to Matt Roth. However, like you said he is alot different. Matt was a pure shooter that always had a great set shot. He worked his way into be a complete shooter by learning how to shoot off the dribble as well. However, he still does not create his own shot very well.
Hayden Hoerdemann is not as good of a shooter from 3, however when he gets hot watch out. Like I stated before he had 39pts in the game against Fieldcrest this year and had 19pts in the last 2:45 of the game. Hoerdemann however scores in so many ways, he hits threes, has a great midrange game, is strong enough to get to the hole and finish with contact, and he gets to the line alot... Something that is really over looked when it comes to being a scorer.... I would compare him more to Jon Scheyer than Matt Roth... Obviously isnt as good as Scheyer but he plays more like Scheyer than Roth
He will be a system player at the next level. Like if he ends up at a high major I could see him at a school like Northwestern or Butler...
