Looks like Bradley is stepping up their efforts on a particular Illinois prospect. Darren Tillman, a 6'6 athletic forward, attends Hillcrest High School on Chicago's Southside, which is also former Marquette Stars Maurice Acker and Jerel McNeal's alma mater. I got a chance to watch Darren play in the Chicago Summer Classic in Deerfield,IL, and at the End of Season Showdown In Merrillville, IN. Tillman is a 6'6 forward who was at his best penetrating to the basket and finishing with or without contact. He threw down a crowd pleasing, thunderouse up-and-under jam over Boys To Men's(AAU Program) Michael Haynes. He also had a standout performance against the Mike Mullins' Illinios Wolves. He also displayed an improved 16-18 foot jumper as well as improved ball handling ablility thoughout the tournament. I caught up with Darren and asked him about his recruitment and plans for this upcoming season...." As far as my recruitiment goes, Air Force, Bradley, Dayton, Georgia State, Lehigh, Mercer, Northwestern, North Dakota State, Oakland, Ohio, Penn, Southeast Missouri State, Wright State, and Wisconsin-Madison have shown me the most interest. Indiana State has shown interest, but their coaches were straight up and told me that forwards aren't a high priority for them right now. The schools that have followed me the most are Air Force, Bradley, Northwestern, North Dakota State, and Oakland. I don't have any OFFICIAL offers as of yet, but I'm still working hard and continuing to strengthen my game. I really like Bradley. It's a nice school. Plus, it's an instate school. As for this season, anything short than a trip to Peoria is a disgrace. We finished in the sweet 16 last season, in which we should've went down state, but we let that game slip away. We've got the talent, work ethic, skill sets, and chemistry. Most of this year's team has been together since middle school. We only lost 1 starter from last season. I myself have been on varsity since my sophomore season. I'm fortunate to be able to learn the stuff I learn from the Coaches there because without them teaching me the little things, I don't know where I would be in basketball. So, another conference title, tournament title, regional, sectional, super-sectional, and state championship are my plans for this season." Their you have it.. Feel free to send me a message in my inbox for any further questions.

Thanks for the video link on Darren Tillman. I can see why he's getting D1 interest. He is very athletic, runs and jumps well, rebounds aggressively, and finishes around the basket well. He reminds me a little of Isiah Martin, who Bradley recruited a few years ago and is now at Indiana State.
As highlight reels always do, it only showed the baskets he made. But in the entire 4+ minutes, he never dribbled the ball a single time, and never took a shot from more than point-blank range. What else can you tell us about his game? Can he handle the ball, and does he have a shot?
