  • BU Recruit - Hollis Hill

Does anyone know if Bradley is recruiting Hollis Hill from Chicago Vocational? My wife and I sat in the row with recruits last night and one was from Chicago Vocational.
    Go small or go home!

Hollis Hill is a 6' junior guard at Chicago Vocational. He is averaging just under 20 points per game and is starting to get interest from college recruiters. There is not much more info available on him.

buballer82, you said you sat with recruits? Was there others at the game?

No it just appeared to be one who I'm pretty sure was Hollis Hill from Chicago Vocational. He seemed to be pretty into the game too. It appeared that he liked seeing the dunks and style of play as he shook his head in approval several times with a big smile on his face.

6-0 guard Holllis Hill, a 2010 recruit from Chicago Vocational High School, just verbally committed to Wisconsin-Milwaukee.-

His teammate, 6-5 forward Aaron Williams also committed to UW-Milwaukee.

            No Surprise

You know it seems strange that Chicago recruits comit to UWM in pairs. You don't think there is a connection steering them to go there do you?

P.S. This is a rhetorical question.

I am not sure what connections UW-M coach Rob Jeter has to the Chicago AAU and High school coaches, but it didn't work out well for the last pair of Chicago players who committed to UW-M as a pair, Kevin Johnson and Tim Flowers of Simeon. They both were gone from UW-M quickly and have bounced around a little.
Now Kevin Johnson is involved in the Simeon scandal involving Derrick Rose' SAT test, and he is in jail currently for another criminal matter, and Tim Flowers who also may have had grades altered at Simeon, has bounced around a bit, too, and is now committed to basketball powerhouse Chicago State.

Both Hollis Hill (a former BU recruit) and high school teammmate Aaron Williams have revoked their verbal committments to UW-Milwaukee, and have reopened their recruitment.

One of the last of the higher quality D1 recruits available in Illinois has finally committed.

Hollis Hill, a 2010 point guard from Chicago Vocational HS that Bradley was interested in at one time, committed to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
