  • Bradley recruit- class of 2007- Justin Johnson

One of the top uncommitted pplayers in Arizona is Justin Johnson. He is the son of Eddie Johnson, former Illinois player out of Westinghouse high school, and long time NBA player.

Profile- note Bradley is listed with a number of mid and high majors--

Here is a new article from Rivals.com. It is likely a premium article--

    Here are a couple clips-
"He has gotten attention from schools this summer, because of his tremendous upside," said father Eddie Johnson. "Not just his ability to shoot but his potential to become a great
defender. His recruiting has skyrocketed because of it."
"Justin is still growing into his body, which seems to be changing on him daily," said Johnson. "He should be flirting with 6-8 about time his senior year starts. He
    is 6-7 right now."

At 6-foot-7 and weighing 190 pounds, Johnson has a 72 inch wing span, making him a very long and athletic wing forward. Johnson's has a very good knack for shooting the basketball out to the tree point line and is also a good mid-range scorer. He is a very good defender and shotblocker and plays very good individual defense on the ball. Johnson is also capable of guarding smaller and bigger players on the floor. He can defend guards, wings and some low post players, making him a valuable defensive asset for any team. Johnson plans to major in business or computer science in college, and is an outstanding student with a 4.0 GPA.

Here is an earlier Rivals article--

in it he lists the schools recruiting him --
Johnson has seen his recruiting take off and is being recruited by Illinois, Wisconsin, Stanford, St. Mary's, New Mexico, Texas A&M, Northern Arizona, Washington State, Idaho, and Bradley. He has no current planned recruiting trips although he will take a few unofficial trips this summer.

They were in the NBA at the same time, but they never played on the same team.
