Its a shame it wasn't a home game in front of a home crowd... Oh, wait a second...

Big mike, what a thrill last night was. I was in Chicago and was able to see it all on WGN. I also saw the last one that Bruce Frommening tapped Milt Pappas out of a perfect game. What a night and to lower the MN by 3 games yesterday. It doesn't get much better than that.

Obviously this is great for Big Z and Cub fans, but more importantly the real Z is back. His arm was tired and he was ineffective. The rest was just what the doctor ordered. Big Z is back big time.

I've had no use for Z since spring training 3 years ago when kids were lined up for autographs and all of a sudden he acted like he was on his cell phone and walked right through them. Borwowski stayed for over 30 minutes. Also not since he hit Edmonds twice in the same game. Should have been barred for the season. Then his cheap shot on Barrett. Next time he gets hit hard again, he will be hurt as usual. Never hurt unless things are going bad.

Lucky you 06.....the Cubs also set a couple MLB records going 15 innings without a hit and a 1 hitter following a shut out! Pretty nice!
