Our hometown guy is now tied for 15th on all time list with Jimmy Foxx. He's just two away from Mickey Mantle. WOW! What a story! Make room in the Hall for Jimmy. Good for him!
There is no team in the the MVC that can match up to us the whole game, if our bigs come to play! BU will win the the MVC this year!

Unlike Palmeiro, McGwire and Sosa, JT has done it the clean way with out the aid of juice. Did I just say that?

Your right! And it is sad, as because of the young kids that look up to players and want to be just like them. Very bad example and leadership. Its all about money and the people who run MLB should answer for allowing it to get to this point. They have Bonds but they aren't going to let him hang. I don't think I have ever hear JT name associated with these players and the juice thing. I would hope I never will.

I think Thome is just "country" strong. All of his bros. were horses as well.

I like Thome...He has done a lot for the community and is a genuine nice guy... but he was a bit on the scrawny side when he was in class a ball in the Cleveland organization....
          Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final

???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

Not a sox fan but am very proud of what JT has accomplished and really like his old school approach to the game!
