IMO, this is an incredible story.
The Houston Astros recently released their pitcher, Shawn Chacon, when he assaulted their general manager. But the Boston Red Sox prefer to forgive and forget, and sweep it under the rug when their guy, Manny Ramirez, assaults their traveling secretary in the clubhouse. The secretary's crime was that he wasn't able to come up with all of Manny's last-minute request for 16 free tickets to Saturday night's Red Sox game. Poor Manny and his 20 million dollar salary must not have been able to afford to buy them the way the rest of us have to do from ticket brokers.
