'The List' from the Mitchell Report

What bothers me is that many legitimate media outlets are treating this the same as if these athletes were found to be buying and using crack cocaine.
In some cases, athletes obtained their drugs through legitimate medical sources, and they are legal prescription pharmaceuticals. In fact, in the case of HGH, it wasn't even banned by Major League baseball when many of these reports of players using it occurred.
I hope reporters do make an effort to distinguish which players obtained their performance-enhancing drugs legally, distinguish legal pharmaceuticals like HGH as opposed to illegal "designer steroids", and which ones were using them when it was not banned by MLB, and therefore violated no rules.

That is too bad, if this list is legit.

Boy...that bogus list that was floating around the internet before the actual list came out was complete garbage...
No Pujols, Wood, or Prior from the Cubs or Cards...just a bunch of mopes like Gary Bennett, Larry Bigbie, Glenallen Hill, Cody McKay, Jason Christiansen, etc...
But the stuff on Clemens from the report is pretty amazing...Rocket's image is in big, big trouble. It will be interesting how he tries to spin his way out of this mess.

???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™
