  • Volleyball Finishes Season: 3-28

Bradley's volleyball team got swept 0-3 in the last two matches by Missouri St. and Wichita St. this weekend at home.

2 of their 3 wins were against Indiana St. (who didn't win a match in the MVC) and the other was against Western Illinois (a near .500 team). Also, the team loses their top two attackers in Harrison and Pierzchala to graduation.

Hopefully, whoever the new coach is can turn things around and the new facilities help. The volleyball team hasn't had a winning season since 2002. Tough way for Coach Luster to end his career at BU, I always thought he was a good guy.

I feel bad for the coaching staff and the seniors, but it's definately time for some new voices to be in charge.

I guess that makes her chances of getting the Bradley job a little more remote!

Scott Luster is a great guy and a terrific coach. He did make BU a competitive volleyball program for a good amount of time.

I had a chance to get to know and work with Scott at BU in his early days there. He is a quality person.

I think both Scott and the University realized that it was time for a change. I wish Scott nothing but the best in the future.
