What is going on with baseball?

Braves win big 15-4 today, in 7 innings. Belmont wins the series but Bradley looked good today. Home run fest! Only bummer is that the Braves missed a triple play by inches in the first inning (line drive caught in the infield; throw to first was slightly late).

Braves win the first 2 games of the series against ISU. BU wins 1st game of doubleheader today, 14-13 in 12 innings.

Braves take the nightcap and win the series.

I’m going to go ahead and take credit for this 4 game MVC win streak because the Belmont finale was the first game I attended this season.

The baseball program has a lot of proud alums including the new president. I have to think the team understands they’re playing for Elvis’s job. To even get in the MVC Tourney though they need to make up 2 games to get into the top 8. It’s doable with other lower division teams on deck.
