Preseason MVC volleyball poll-

Illinois State Picked as Favorite to Win MVC Volleyball Title

ST. LOUIS – Fresh off a MVC Tournament crown, Illinois State has been tabbed as the league favorite in the annual coaches’ preseason poll, receiving 134 points and five first-place votes. The Redbirds edged second-place pick Evansville (121 points, two 1st place votes) and UIC (108 points, three 1st place votes).

Bradley picked 4th out of the 12 teams. Bradley was tied for 3rd last year with Valparaiso with a 12-6 record (16-14 overall)-

Missouri State Picked to Win MVC Men's Soccer Crown

ST. LOUIS – Missouri State has been tabbed as the team to beat in the 2022 MVC men’s soccer chase in a vote conducted by league coaches. The Bears received 49 points and all seven first-place votes in the poll to out-distance Belmont (36 points), UIC (32 points), SIUE (32 points), Evansville (24 points), Bradley (12 points) and Drake (11 points).

Bradley picked 6th out of the 7 teams. Last year, Bradley finished tied with Drake for last place with a 3-7 conference record (5-12-1 overall)

ST. LOUIS – The Bradley men and women have been selected as the 2022 favorites by a vote of Missouri Valley Conference cross country coaches in their annual preseason poll. The Bradley men will compete for their first title since 2019 while the women will try for their first crown since 2018. The MVC Cross Country Championship will be aired on The Valley on ESPN on Friday, October 28.
