He was just named the 2021 Peoria Journal Star Golfer of the Year. The last PJ Star Golfer of the Year to commit to Bradley out of high school was Travis Kreiter of Brimfield in 2008.-

He was the medalist 11 times, and his 18-hole average this year was 70.81 (according to the PJ Star article). He shot 67 four times, 69 twice and was under-par in 10 of his 21 rounds this year. He verbally committed to Bradley University on Oct. 21.
One thing that impressed Hamm the most about Bradley, who plans to major in business, was the new $100 million Business and Engineering Convergence Center part of Bradley’s Foster College of Business. He had this to say about his first visit to Bradley-
“I’m really excited to join the Bradley community,” Hamm said. “What really brought me along was the school. It was not what I expected. When I was on my visit, I walk into these buildings, and I’m wowed by … the school.”
