So where will the two Bradley pitchers be assigned and do they report to their new minor league team right away? Will they go to low-A Kannapolis, high-A Winston Salem, or AA Birmingham...or will they start in the Florida rookie league? Any word on any of that yet?

In all likelihood once signed they’ll start at Rookie or Low A. Only veteran international signees skip the first couple rungs. Even the Cards first round pick had to work his way up to High A Peoria.

Sox need the bullpen help. Apparently Denlinger has been killing it in the Northwest League after the Braves season ended.

Theron Denlinger is playing for the Madison Mallards of the Northwoods League this summer. He had been appearing in late-inning relief, and has yielded only 2 earned runs in 17 innings, struck out 25 and walked 4.

Interesting article about Denlinger and how he recovered from Tommy John surgery and developed his 98 mph fastball.

The MLB has completed all 20 rounds of the 2021 Draft, and no additional Bradley players were drafted.
There were only 4 more MVC players drafted in rounds 11-20 today-
Dallas Baptist had 3 more players drafted in rounds 12, 15, & 20, and Illinois State had one player drafted today in round 16.

Final number of players drafted from MVC teams-
              Bradley- 2 - Round 4 (#124) & Round 7 (#215)
              Dallas Baptist- 5 - Round 3 (#81), Round 5 (#133), Round 12 (#358 ), Round 15 (#439), & Round 20 (#588 )
              Evansville- 0
              Illinois State- 1 - Round 16 (#488 )
              Indiana State- 0
              Missouri State- 2 - Round 3 (#96) & Round 6 (#182)
              Southern ILL- 1 - Round 7 (#107)
              Valparaiso- 0

Players who went undrafted will be able to sign as undrafted free agents with any MLB team they can.

One rating service had Bolt at #400 so I'm surprised no one took a chance on him, especially since he consistently showed year over year improvement. The knock on him apparently was defense and striking out too much, but no doubt he'll catch on somewhere as a free agent.

Is Mangieri playing anywhere this year?

Luke Mangieri graduated from Bradley in 2018, and was drafted in the 25th round by the Pittsburg Pirates. He played on 2 different Pittsburgh minor league teams for the remainder of 2018. Then he played in 2019 for West Virginia (low A), had great statistics (.328/.418/.517) and got a promotion to Greensboro (high A) of the South Atlantic League.
However, he was released by the Pirates prior to the 2020 season, related to Covid cancelling the entire 2020 minor league season.

He played 2020 for a team (the Tully Monsters) in an independent league in Joliet, The City of Champions Cup-

And he is playing 2021 for the Southern Illinois Miners of the independent Frontier League-

Let's hope he can get back into a major league organization.

Brooks Gosswein was picked 124th overall by the White Sox. The recommended "slot value" (MLB recommended signing bonus) for the 124th pick is $460,000-
                        MLB Draft Slot values- https://www.baseballamerica.com/stor...-all-30-teams/

The reason the White Sox were able to get him to sign for far less than slot value is because he is a 5th year senior, and has limited options. High schoolers, junior college players, and college juniors are all eligible to be drafted, but they all have the option to go to college or return to college and be eligible in future drafts where they might go higher. Denlinger's (overall pick #215) situation was essentially the same. He is also a 5th year senior with limited options. The slot value for the 215th pick is $204,800, but he took much less. The White Sox also had one of the lowest signing bonus pools (see above link- bonus poll = total amount they could spent signing draftees) so they had to try to draft players they believed they could sign well below slot value. However, the White Sox organization has been extremely effective at developing pitchers, especially hard throwers like Gosswein and Denlinger. Good luck to both pitchers. Hopefully, they can make it to the majors!
