  • Lou Pinella insults women

    In an interview

Q-Do you think a woman could be a good manager?
Pinella-If she had a good bench coach, why not? I would think she would need a good hardened professional baseball guy that would help her with the x's and o's during the ballgame. Someone who knew the intricacies in and out of the game

Q-Plenty of women already know the intricacies of the game.
Pinella-I'm not sure of that. I think some of the sportswriter women probably think they do.

When will these individuals who get interviewed especially when it comes to silly type of questioning, that you answer the PC way even if you dont believe it.

If he says yes of course a woman could make an excellent manager and many know the sport, no one would ever hear a word about this, now well who knows what type of life a comment like this can or will take.

How many women have ever played in the major leagues? How many have ever managed at any level of professional baseball?

Why is it that when a person is asked a question and gives their opinion they get taken to task? If you don't want my opinion don't ask the question.
What part of illegal don't you understand?

Good point. In general I'm a fairly 'PC type' person, but if you ask someones opinion don't crucify them when they give it to you. Had Lou Pinella come out and said he didn't think women should be in baseball or something it would be entirely different, but he was asked his opinion and gave it, case closed. And I strongly dislike Pinella, so I'd love to rip him for this, but there is just no reason to.

???We all want Bradley to win. If our methods and visions for that are different, then so be it. Don't ever attempt to tell me I am not a fan!???
