Um, how about you're scum? Do you know Pac? You guys tight? Do you know all the specifics of the LV case? Because the DA and LVPD are still in the process of gathering all the facts pertaining to it. So for you to blindly label him that makes you scum. Why not? You got your regurgitated Around the Horn, PTI bias opinion, so I'll make an uninformed opinion of you. That sounds fair.

Attention Dacoach or Tornado: How can this be allowed? Nevermind his other brilliant post about Larussa's DUI and how he should be FIRED! Flame on Flamer.

Well, we generally have a bit tighter control on posts and names used when describing Bradley athletes and coaches or other posters, but
"scum" has not yet been added to the list of banned phrases when simply used to describe a situation, a behavior, or another person.

We will monitor this situation closely, schedule several committee meetings, and develop a full report before the next preseidential election.

He makes a point murph, Pacman jones has not been found guilty of anything, while I do not think he as a good influence or role model, calling him scum seems premature. Many people could use that logic to say Ray Brown is Scum, he failed a drug Test... And that is not true at all, he seems to me to be pretty good guy. While I would have worded my post a little differently OP has a point.

Yeah, I think pacman was made to be an example to the rest of the league, I'm just glad it wasn't Tank Johnson. I still think people over reacted to Tank's situation, I didn't really think it was that huge of a deal, he just had some guns and ammo with no FOID card and had been of probation(which was the main problem with the entire thing), which is a stupid illinois rule meant to keep guns out of chicago but really just gives tax revenue to the state and causes lots of pain. Oh well.

I did think Pacman's sentence was harsh though, suspended an entire season and only a chance he may get reinstated to the league after that year??? I don't really know alot of the details, but I think it is a little harsh.

I ran across this story on incidents involving NFL players.

Since the beginning of the 2000 NFL seaons
"According to the Union-Tribune review, there have been 308 arrests or citations, not including minor traffic infractions."

                "Of those 308 incidents:

The most prevalent charge was driving under the influence, which accounted for almost a third of the arrests. Over half of all incidents came after traffic stops or were vehicle-related, including DUIs and searches that turned up drugs or guns.

Almost 40 percent (122) were committed by 50 players with multiple arrests, including DUI and other offenses.

Some teams are clearly better behaved than others. The St. Louis Rams (three incidents involving two players) might have something to teach the Minnesota Vikings and Cincinnati Bengals, who combined for at least 44 incidents since 2000."

Seems like the only posts on this board are about jocks doing bad things, and this post is no different.

Lawsuit Naming Jones, NFL and Titans Likely Won't Ease Suspension

A month away from asking NFL commissioner Roger Goodell to review his season-long suspension from the league, Jones is a defendant in a lawsuit brought by a man shot and paralyzed after a Las Vegas club fight police accuse the cornerback of starting.

Among his co-defendants? The NFL and his bosses, the Titans.

Someone needs to do a catscan on Jones, because I am convinced he has no brain.

How difficult is it to stay out of strip clubs? Let alone if you are going to go to one dont do anything to draw attention to yourself. His picture really should be to the right in the dictonary for the word stupid.

But allas he is an athlete and I am sure this will eventually pass or be swept under the rug.
