  • Superbowl Ads

Did anyone like any of the Superbowl Ads.
I thought they all stunk this year, none were very creative.
Even nationally people who were polled said they were bad and
the only ones they liked were the lenguage class ad and the moon base ad.
The language one was funny, but the moon ad was ignorant.
There's no weightlessness on the moon, and the only time a
meteor flames like that is in the atmoshpere, and the moon has no atmosphere.
Can anyone even remember what product was being sold in the moon ad? I can't.
Then the snickers ad was the one that's generated the most
press, but only because it features two men kissing each other
then they have to find a way to act manly because they've just
    done a terribly unmanly thing.
How long before these advertisers figure out that you just can't trample all over
this gender identity stuff without attracting the wrath of the PC police.

the K-Fed commercial was pretty good
'Tis far better to have failed at Bradley than to have graduated from Illinois State!

I thought the K-Fed one was the best too, but apparently that one also offended a segment of the population that works in fast food restaruants.
How come when they portray average white males as being so stupid (as in the Bud and Heineken commercials where they ignore their ladies to drink beer) that all the average white males don't whine like crybabies, too?

The only one that I laughed at was the CBS promo ad with Dave Letterman and Oprah. They have a history of disliking each other, so to see tham pretending to be sitting next to each other on a couch watching the super Bowl was hilarious.
From PJ Star sports expert Kirk Wessler in his Jan. 10, 2012 column following 8th loss in a row at Drake-
"Yes, the Braves are better than they were when the season started two months ago. By a light year or two, they??™re better."

And from the PJ Star 4/26/12, Dave Reynolds-
"Fields and Grier both appear to be difference makers. If Bradley continues to add the right players around them, happy days may be ahead for the Braves after a long dry spell."

I was rather disappointed with the Ads this year. For some reason, I was not expecting much excitement from these promotions. I thought the Budweiser Rock-Paper was a little funny, but that's about it..
