Michelle Wie is a marvelous woman golfer, but what is with her repeatedly trying to play in men's tournaments, even though she would not ordinarily qualify (she gets special exemptions)?
She has never come close to making a cut, except for a very low level PGA event on the Asian tour), and even had to be hauled off to a hospital during one futile attempt.
She made over $20 million last year (Some sources say $25 million- all but a few hundred thousand from off the course income), despite the fact she's never won anything.
