From Limestone/ICC we have Zach Jewell and from AC Central/ICC, and Illini Golf employee, Ethan Brue who won the tournament. Next up is the Joh Dallio Memorial tournament hosted by DePaul in Lemont on the 19th and 20th. GO BRAVES!

The BU women's spring golf season got underway today as they played in the Amelia Island Collegiate in Fernandina Beach, Florida. They played 54 holes and shot team scores of 314 and 306 to finish 16th out of 18 teams but are just 10 shots out of the top ten. Freshman Taylor Ledwein shot scores of 74/76 to finish tied for 23rd and Sophomore Frankie Saban shot 77/77 to finish tied for 51st. They finish the tournament with 18 more holes of Tuesday and then have a quick turnaround as they go to Rio Verde, Arizona for the 3 day Rio Verde Invitational tournament that starts on Friday.
The men's golf team will have their first spring tournament on the 27th and 28th in Spring, Texas at the Colin Montgomery Houston Baptist Invitational. The men are coming off one of BU's best fall seasons ever as they won 2 out of 5 tournaments and finished 2nd and 3rd in 2 others. From what I've been told competition on the team should be pretty fierce as they have at least 8 guys competing for 5 spots for each tournament. Should be fun.
