The Bradley volleyball team played their first match of 2016 this afternoon at Milwaukee as part of the Pepsi Panther Invitational.
Last year's team (2015) finished with a 6-24 record, and they were just 1-17 in the MVC. They lost 23 of their last 24 matches, and an amazing 17 of their losses were 3-0 shutouts.
Bradley hired new volleyball Head Coach Carol Price-Torok on February 25, 2016, thus she had virtually no time to recruit more players for this 2016 season.
Bradley's first match was against Milwaukee. Bradley won the first 2 sets, but then lost the next 3 to lose 3-2. A tough loss.
They will play again at 5:30 PM against Western Illinois, and then play a 3rd match in the Pepsi Panther Invitational Saturday at 11 AM against Akron.
