ICC Baseball doesn't get a lot of press coverage but....
they are down south (Poplarville, MS) and opened their season with a doubleheader sweep of Pearl River CC to go 2-0.
(btw- being down south, Pearl River has already played EIGHTEEN games!)
Game 1- ICC won 11-0, Washington HS Mason McCoy was 2-4 with 3 RBI! - game ended with 5-inning mercy rule!
Casey Hanley and Trey Hannam homered, Skyler Arnberger pitched a 2-hit shutout.
Game 2- ICC won 5-2, 9 hits & five different players got RBI's
ICC was errorless in both games!
Righty reliever from NYC EJ Ramos has a great relief stint, facing the tough part of the PRCC order and shutting them down in order - the only ICC pitcher on the day out of five used who did NOT give up a hit or a baserunner at all.
they play a few more games down south then have their home opener planned for March 17 weather permitting but if it's like this it should be awesome.
