This is a nice story. The Minnesota Wild traded for defenseman Jordan Leopold today from the Columbus Blue Jackets. It was probably to help the Wild in the push to make the playoffs.
But it seems the trade came after Leopold's daughter wrote a sweet letter and asked their hometown Minnesota team to trade for him because the family missed him.
