  • Future of NFL Preason Games?

With the injuries to highly paid or critical position players seemingly increasing as pre season games drag on, should the NFL get rid of these games? Practices/scrimmages with other teams may provide the same benefit without injuries.

Player's Union demands to limit practice time and amount of physical contact in pre season work outs may be a reason for more serious injuries when under prepared players are thrown into too many games too soon in the preseason..

Good idea. A lot of good views of the Phoenix area during the broadcast of the game Sunday night. Made me homesick.

The preseason games, though not as valuable as the 16 regular season games, or the playoffs, still generate an incredible amount of money for the NFL and the players. I can't see either side agreeing to drop them, since it would result is loss of a lot of revenue and necessary pay cuts.
