Will liberals ever figure out that criminal and unconstitutional actions by a President and his henchmen/henchwomen in the Justice Dept, IRS, CIA, HHS, EPA, Nat Security, DEA, Immigration etc. all to further their views that Fed Gov needs to unilaterally control all citizens lives is fool's gold?

Just wish our leaders would attack real problems - single parent welfare moms with litters of kids, child support queens, illegal immigrants with litters of kids who can't read/write draining US resources, rampant drug use and gang activity by inner city teens and young adults...

You're right. This is the general sports discussion thread. With thre drawn out political threads at the top of the page. It's irrelevant whether I agree or disagree. It's just to sad to spend much time on this forum anymore.

I guess some people just don't like sarcasm/satire. Particularly if it offends their political persuasion. I can assure you I am not a depressed, politically driven, sky is falling kind of guy. I just thought it was hilarious the Fed Gov thinks chocolate chip cookies are the most pressing problem with American health and the over reach of gov in controlling life was worth a belly laugh. I am assuming you enjoyed these cookies as I did as a kid and it obviously didn't cause you any harm.

When living in South Africa with Cat for 4 years I became a reluctant fan of soccer, cricket, and rugby since access to US sports info was not as easy as today.You could give these a shot if your sensibilities were damaged by this thread so much you want to bail. As mentioned here often, if a post turns you off, don't bother to read it!

Of course you could just wait until the Fed Gov censors any electronic communications that disagree with their ideology, or their supporters' ...

I'm an adult and I have no issues with differing or similar political opinions. My general tiredness comes more from the fact that the same handful of people use the forum to say the same handful of things over and over again. No one else starts these threads - it's really very funny. At the best point, it really doesn't make much sense to spend time here. In the run up to college/pro football season half our threads are about Peoria school boards, Times's man of the year from two years ago, and how someone else is upset with the broad strokes of the federal government - like literally 80% of the population.


I'd just rather have actual sports information.

So thank you for worrying about my sensibilities but I'll be fine. I'm not asking anyone to change I'm just working my way to other boards. I can safely assume you'll be fine without me.

There is plenty of sports info here, too. In fact 98% of all MVC, Bradley basketball, and recruiting news is first reported here. So come back any time. There have been a few others who left, but they all seem to keep reading this board constantly...
