Lost for the season....here's to Jon Bostic being able to step right in! That's the third Bears defensive starter to be lost for the season joining DT Melton and DT Collins!

Very unfortunate injury for Williams. He was playing reasonably well as you'd expect from a veteran. Bostic is intriguing as he had 2 or 3 splash plays in the preseason. Unfortunately, he also had no idea about pass coverage in a Tampa-2 defense and found himself being lectured by Briggs on more than one occassion. We'll see if teams exploit the seam and deep middle...the areas of responsibility for a "mike" LB in the Bears' system.
