Sorry for the off topic story- but this is just about the funniest thing I have seen reported by a legitimate TV news station in a long time.
Oakland TV station KTVU, reporting on the Asiana Airlines crash last Saturday, reported this afternoon that "KTVU had just learned the names of the 4 pilots that were onboard the flight".
Then they list the breaking news of the 4 names of the pilots they have "uncovered".
What a scoop! Except, obviously KTVU was punked, big time- Watch the video here-
One site is reporting that the TV station obtained the names from a 12 year old boy, and never checked their information.
